Wes Morgan is sent off for a second bookable offence on Richarlison
Leicester were left frustrated after Wes Morgan's sending-off contributed to a 2-1 home defeat by Everton on Saturday.
The Foxes captain was already on a booking when Andre Marriner brandished a second yellow card for a foul on Richarlison in what proved a key turning point at the King Power Stadium.
Ricardo Pereira had cancelled out Richarlison's opener when Morgan caught the Brazilian from behind.
The incident took place in the 63rd minute, just moments after Morgan had escaped without a second caution for a foul on the byline, and Marco Silva believes the match official may have dismissed the Leicester defender as a result of an accumulation of fouls.
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson described the sending off as 'harsh', as Everton went on to seal all three points thanks to Gylfi Sigurdsson's brilliant 25-yard strike. But what do you think of Morgan's red card?
